The Ideatorio-USI is the service for the promotion of scientific culture and the science and society dialogue of the University of Italian Switzerland.
It aims to make science and technologies accessible to a greater number of people, through simple languages and interactive events.
Recently at the exhibition site in the Palazzo Reali in Piazza del Municipio, Cadro (Lugano), the new digital astronomical planetarium was born where you can participate in a show that will take you to discover the sky.
The possible dates (Saturday and Sunday at 2.30 pm, 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm) to participate in this event are as follows:
- 22 February,
- 23 February,
- 29 February,
- 1 March;
- 7 March.

HOW THE EVENT IS STRUCTURED
During this show you will travel in space with engaging projections, background music guided by the explanations of an expert animator.
You will be able to discover the red landscapes of Mars, the rings of Saturn and the gigantic Jupiter, until you spot distant nebulae and remote galaxies.
The show lasts about 45 minutes, the introduction is usually dedicated to the sky of the month.
Do not miss the opportunity to clarify doubts or spatial curiosities, learning to look with different eyes at this planet that welcomes us, the Earth, which in infinite space is a tiny dot.
